Officials from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will be releasing the 2009-2010 symphony season schedule Tuesday, January 27, via live Webcast. The 2008-2009 season was to include the premiere of Wynton Marsalis' American Symphony, which was ultimately put off due to deadline issues. Here's hoping the piece is on tap for the coming season. For those who need a Marsalis fix in, say, the next week and a half, he's at Symphony Hall with the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra on January 30.
Update: The world premiere of American Symphony will take place November 19, 20 and 22 at Symphony Hall.
